NFD News: Thabo September warning for Baroka FC

SuperSport United defender Thabo September has warned Baroka FC that they won’t roll over as easy as other teams did.

Baroka advanced to the semifinals of the Nedbank Cup on Sunday after beating Polokwane City 2-0 at Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.

The NFD log leaders have also beaten Chippa United and Golden Arrows en-route to the last four.

They were drawn against Matsatsantsa, but September has warned that Baroka can expect a huge fight.

“It’s a good draw. They have been doing well in the league and the cup and we look forward to playing against them,” September tells KickOff.com.

“But look, SuperSport United are not Polokwane City or any other team. We have played other small teams and we are not scared of them. We are playing at home and we should take advantage of that.”

SuperSport beat Mpumalanga Black Aces 2-1 on Friday night to qualify for the semifinals.

This Baroka are over confident and that will lead them to nowhere. They must respect the other teams anyway
